In 2042-- Ly Phan

 

What the world  most is concerned about right now is hunger and disease. This is an extremely important issue so I expect that in 2042 next developments in the digital revolution will  create these breakthroughs below:

1.     Create the personalize medicine or therapy : This idea can solve individual treatment in order to increase the average human lifetimes.

2.     Innovation of the adaptive agriculture machine: This machine will create the seed can grow on any types of soil wherever around the world, event the most extreme cases such as desert or North Pole , it can still grow well and without too use the pesticide or fertilizer.

Besides the above benefits, there has still  some potential disadvantages. When the average life expectancy of people increased, there will easily occur the population explosion  lead to many severely bad effects such as : environmental pollutions, shortage of houses, social problems,…

    Interesting, yes, if we improve the average life span, this can increase the typical person's burden on the environment. The question is how can we live both long and well.

  Hello, class! I’m Shiho and from Japan. Also, I’m 19 years old and now live in Kaikorai with Hilary who is my host mother. I have impressed a nature, a view from my home and a wood stove. I like Dunedin because there’s no high buildings and Dunedin is a beautiful streetscape. Sometimes, I miss Japan and soaking in the bathwater.
