About me -- Mayuko Nakamura
Hello, my name is Mayuko and I’m 20 years
old. I live in Moodie Street with Hughes family and two children. When I arrived
at Dunedin, I was surprised at very beautiful scenery that Dunedin has. I’m so glad
to come to New Zealand and to meet wonderful people. When I was a high school
student, I’ve been preferred to study Japanese history because I wanted to know
about Japan more and more as a Japanese and it was exciting for me to memorize
a lot of things. I was looking forward to swimming in the summer! The reason why
I came to New Zealand is that I want to improve my English and I wish I could
speak English fluently when I go back to Japan. I like listening to KPOP music,
reading comic books and talking with my friends and there isn’t what I do not
like to do so I would like to tell the food that I cannot eat is mashroom. I will
not eat it even if my mother make dishes which are included in.
I suppose my good point is that I can think
anything calmly and bad point is that I cannot be strict to myself. For
instance, I cannot control myself when I want to eat snacks.
These are my cats. They are very lovely,
aren’t they?
HI, Mayuko. I really enjoyed reading your essay. Your cats are lovely. I am hoping to improve English with you and everyone in Dunedin, New Zealand. Also, let's read manga together. What sort of manga are you reading?
ReplyDeleteI often read fantasy or action comics!
DeleteI like your cats. Your picture makes me feel I want to have a cat. I will ask my host family to have a cat.
ReplyDeleteThat is nice idea to ask them lol
DeleteI cannot control my habit that eating snack, too! And I like reading comic, so please tell me what comic do you like. I want to read it. Mashiro
ReplyDeleteI've read which was interesting one is 'Golden Kamui'. That location is Hokkaido so you can know about that deeply!
DeleteI respect your posture that you would like to know Japan as a Japanese. And I also don't like mushrooms, so let's shake hands.
ReplyDeleteYes! I cannot understand why people like mashrooms...
DeleteHello, Mayuko! The picture was so nice and how lovely it is❤︎ I also don't like mashrooms.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment! I'm happy to know that you don't like that.
DeleteYour cats are so lovely... I would like to meet them one day!
ReplyDeleteI want you meet them as well!
DeleteHi Mayuko, what era of Japanese history is of particular interest to you? I enjoy Nara & Heian era architecture & sculpture and Meiji era politics. By the way, your cats look great. Cats are so smart aren't they. It is so characteristic of cats to find a sunny spot on a cold day just like your cats are doing.
ReplyDeleteI like the Edo period because there were significant important people who have changed Japan. I like that era you like as well! They are smart, but sometimes they are funny. I want to see them..
ReplyDeleteThank you for your introduction. I didn't know that you liked Japanese history. Japanese history was boring for me at that time, so I really respect you.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment! I respect that you know about world history well.
