Would you volunteer abroad? -- Tamon Yamamoto

I  believe that volunteering abroad has a positive impact on both those who participate and those who benefit from it. Those who participate are able to experience the cultural differences between their own country and the country of origin, and can apply the experience to their future lives. The countries that receive volunteers can gain a variety of skills and knowledge. I would like to participate in volunteer activities in the future. I would like to participate in volunteer activities in the future because I think it will broaden my sense of values and help me grow. If I go there, I would like to serve them Japanese food.

  Hello, class! I’m Shiho and from Japan. Also, I’m 19 years old and now live in Kaikorai with Hilary who is my host mother. I have impressed a nature, a view from my home and a wood stove. I like Dunedin because there’s no high buildings and Dunedin is a beautiful streetscape. Sometimes, I miss Japan and soaking in the bathwater.
