Past Pandemics -- Usa Yamagami
Pandemics are diseases that spread rapidly among people. The disease spreads faster than we can develop a cure, so the death toll continues to rise.
I was surprised that past pandemics' death toll is much more than I thought. Moreover, since there were many wars during this period, many people moved to other countries with the virus. As a result, the number of infected people spread rapidly across countries.
I was reminded of the greatness of research facilities and medicines that we take for granted today, such as microscopes and antibiotics.
One thing I learned from all of these past pandemics was the importance of cleanliness and eating proper foods. And of course, be careful to keep your distance from patients.
Recently, because of COVID-19, our lifestyle completely changed. I think the positive effect is people are aware of their health. People wear masks and wash their hands, so these days the number of flu is decreasing. In the future, I don't know whether COVID-19 completely converge or not, but I hope to keep our awareness.
I found that eating proper foods and cleanliness are very important, too. However, many people who live in developing country should eat bad foods to live. it is a big problem.
ReplyDeleteI agree that we have to keep clean. After getting home, I will clean my room.
ReplyDeleteAs you described, medical technology is developing, but we cannot overcome pandemic. I think pandemic will be a big problem for human forever.
ReplyDeleteLife is unpredictable. So in my point the correct attitude is to hope for the best but prepare for the worst
