In 2042 -- Ayano

   


In my eyes, the world will be better in 40 years because of the next developments in the digital revolution and in automation. I expect the next evolutions will be enable us to experience a variety of things virtually such as traveling, going shopping, and having dinner at a restaurant. I anticipate that they will offer a great quality of virtual reality. For example, people go to a virtual supermarket. They could see food as if they were in a real grocery store, therefore, they can check the size of food, the quality of food and so on virtually. Furthermore, they can smell food! I am sure that this will greatly help a lot of people all over the world. People can use their time efficiently. Also, people who live in isolated area don’t need to go shopping. That’s good, isn’t that? I am hoping that the world will be better with new technologies.

  Hello, class! I’m Shiho and from Japan. Also, I’m 19 years old and now live in Kaikorai with Hilary who is my host mother. I have impressed a nature, a view from my home and a wood stove. I like Dunedin because there’s no high buildings and Dunedin is a beautiful streetscape. Sometimes, I miss Japan and soaking in the bathwater.
