The Three Minute Thesis Competition -- Ayano Yoshiike

1: Who were the best presenters and why?

The best presenter I choose is 2th because his picture was eye-catching and his topic was great. His speaking was passionate and easy to understand. I found that carbon dioxide problem is a big issue.

2: Whose ideas did you find most interesting and why?

I was interested in the last person’s presentation. He talked about yoga. I had not come up with this issue.

3: What are some fascinating facts that you’ve learned today?

Artificial technology helps the earth.

4: What are some words that you’ve heard today that you’d like to remember?

we can indeed

5: How will you improve your ability to communicate in spoken English in an academic context as a result of attending today’s event?

I think I should read more news and books.

  1. Though I couldn't catch what he said well, I felt his passion.

  2. I agree with you Ayano, Kasun Perera, the 2nd presenter, did speak passionately and in a way that was understandable. I felt encouraged by his statement that "poor carbon performance reduces returns." This means that companies are more likely to lessen their reliance on fossil fuels in order to make more money, which would be a happy result for the environment. David :-)

  3. Hi, Ayano! I totally agree with you. Their speech theme was too difficult to understand completely. We have to read and get more information about the world.
