The Three Minute Competition -- Shiho Matsuura

I think that Rajesh Nautiyal is the most interesting because his insight is curious. Originally, Yoga is a traditional exercise but, in those days, it is doing all over the world. Even If I am him, I couldn’t come up this topic. So, I was impressed. Also, his introduce which he moved us to do yoga was good because it could attract our attentions.

Next, in my opinion, Iki Mafi Uele is the most effective communicator because he looked like he was more confident than other speakers. his voice was powerful and his speech pace was easy to listen. And I think facial expression and intense eyes are also important from his speech. Also, He let us do some of the motions. It was effective way to attract audience attentions.

Finally, Possibilities and challenges of post graduate study is soling many problems even global scale. They focus on one big topic and search causes and solutions. From 3mt, I think I would like to be like them in the future in my field.

  1. I understand what he wanted to say more, thanks to your report. Thank you.
I think you will be able to be like them, because you learn English very hard.

  2. Nice post, Shiho. Indeed both Nautiyal & Uele captured our attention very effectively. Asking us to put our hands in our pockets to feel for money brought home the fact that money donated by NZ to Tonga is in a sense 'our money', so yes of course we want to know it is being spent wisely. I also like it how you have seen the potential of postgraduate study through this competition. Trying to solve big problems is both an honor and a responsibility. David :-)
