About me -- Mashiro Yamashita

June 21, 2022

Hello, I’m Mashiro Yamashita. I am 20 years old. I live in Waverley with Bloxham family. Their children and grandchildren and dog sometimes come my homestay house. I’m from Japan. I was impressed by the beauty of this town. There is a lot of nature and beautiful sea. I felt like a scene of movie. My favorite subject was English when I was a high school student, because I liked my English teacher very much. I took this course because I would like to get a job related to English in the future. I like playing volleyball and listening to music. My hometown famous for the lake Biwa. Do you know the lake biwa? It is the biggest lake in Japan. Therefore, I like rowing a boat in the lake biwa, too. When I am free, I often walk on a strange street. I don’t like waking up early. My good point is challenging without the fear of failure. On the other hand, my weak point is my indecisiveness. I want to speak English fluently! Thank you for reading.

  2. I think her homestay family is big, so it would be lively. I also think her hobby is good for her health. I'm not good at exercise, so I respect her.

  8. I guess you must feel close to nature when rowing on Lake Biwa. You'd feel the wind through your hair and the spray against your arms! There is a rowing club at Otago University too, so if you want, you could experience rowing in the Dunedin Harbour. David :-)
