About me -- Mashiro Yamashita
June 21, 2022
Hello, I’m Mashiro Yamashita. I am 20 years old. I live in Waverley with Bloxham family. Their children and grandchildren and dog sometimes come my homestay house. I’m from Japan. I was impressed by the beauty of this town. There is a lot of nature and beautiful sea. I felt like a scene of movie. My favorite subject was English when I was a high school student, because I liked my English teacher very much. I took this course because I would like to get a job related to English in the future. I like playing volleyball and listening to music. My hometown famous for the lake Biwa. Do you know the lake biwa? It is the biggest lake in Japan. Therefore, I like rowing a boat in the lake biwa, too. When I am free, I often walk on a strange street. I don’t like waking up early. My good point is challenging without the fear of failure. On the other hand, my weak point is my indecisiveness. I want to speak English fluently! Thank you for reading.
I was impressed by your introduction. I want to get on the boat.
ReplyDeleteI think her homestay family is big, so it would be lively. I also think her hobby is good for her health. I'm not good at exercise, so I respect her.
ReplyDeleteNice picture! Is it your hobby? I recommend you to row a boat in a sea near your house!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Mashiro. I hadn't known that you had been a member of the boat club and it was a so surprising thing! Also, I know the lake biwa and it is very nice spot to visit!
ReplyDeleteHi, Mashiro. I think your hobbies are wonderful! I'd like to row a boat with you someday in Dunedin! I'm looking forward to doing that!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised that when I hear that you like rowing boat the other day. Thank you for the beautiful picture.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great hobby that you row boats! How often did you do that when you were in Japan?
ReplyDeleteI guess you must feel close to nature when rowing on Lake Biwa. You'd feel the wind through your hair and the spray against your arms! There is a rowing club at Otago University too, so if you want, you could experience rowing in the Dunedin Harbour. David :-)
